In the early days of BridgeCare, co-founders Jamee Herbert and Jonathan Kirst called thousands of childcare providers on behalf of families who were struggling to find available care options that met their needs in their area. Through many phone calls with providers, as well as their first-hand experience looking for child care as parents, Jamee and Jonathan built BridgeCare into what it is today: an award-winning, map-based search tool, and so much more.

We'd like to take a moment to kick-off the new year by sharing some major highlights and accomplishments from 2023.

Funds distributed

In 2023, we helped distribute approximately $65 million in funds, playing a crucial role in supporting Early Care and Education (ECE) in communities across the United States.

Surge in applications

Last year, more than 100,000 applications were submitted through the BridgeCare platform – a testament to the success of BridgeCare’s streamlined application process, as well as the growing trust families and providers place in our services.

Expansion across the US

In 2023, we continued to increase our footprint across the country and are now serving families and providers in approximately a third of the United States.

  • Clients in 15 states

  • Team members in 9 states

  • Total coverage of 18 states

A moment of gratitude

As we reflect on these milestones, our hearts are full of gratitude for the families, providers, and clients who have embraced BridgeCare. Your trust and partnership have been pivotal to our collective achievements.

Looking ahead to 2024

As we look to 2024, we remain committed to creating fundamental, systemic change to make the entire ECE system more equitable and effective. We’re excited to carry the momentum from last year into 2024, and look forward to continuing to serve families and providers across the country.
